Win Posters! Learn Nothin'!

Who likes posters?  Well, everyone, duh!  Who likes pony posters?  Everyone again!  Who likes free pony posters?  Stop asking stupid questions, that answer should be obvious!

Last night I decided to head back to Walmart and pick up Twilight Sparkle and her awesome car…and with it a few more posters!  In the spirit of friendship and stuff, I’m passing my obsessive completionist need for a fleet of pony vehicles onto you!

I have one set of four posters including the much-coveted Equestria map that I am going to give away! 

In order to win one of these suitable-for-framing works of art, you have two options.  I will be giving away two posters in an art contest, and two in a raffle.  The art contest, I fear, is blatanty self serving.  I want pictures, pictures of my pony!  To enter the art contest, draw a picture of my pony doing something- worshipping Trixie, drinking beer, bare-knuckle fighting Sherlock Holmes, whatever!  Don’t be afraid of entering, regardless of skill level!  Impress me with your creativity and sense of humor. To enter your creation, just upload it somewhere (Deviant Art seems the most obvious choice, but IMGUR, Dropbox, Tumblr, anything works!) and post the link in the comments section of this journal.  I’m sure it doesn’t need to be said, but please no gore, grimdark, R34, or art that will make me or your grandma feel awk-ward.  

The second way to win that requires much less drawing power is by raffle! 

Huh…raffle sounds like waffle which makes me really want waffles.

To enter the raffle, just send me an email (That’s one email, ballot-stuffing results in disqualification TO THE MOON!) to pixelkitties@yahoo.com  I will assign each entry a number and then use one of those random number-generator thingies to pick the two winners.

Other details:  The contest will end next weekend, Sunday August 12 2012 at 12 midnight EST.  I will post the results right here.  The first-place winner of the art contest will choose a poster, followed by the first-place winner of the Raffle, followed by the runner up in the art contest.  The raffle runner-up will get the last remaining poster.

Also, this contest IS open to folks outside the US.  I would be a huge steaming pile of jerk if I denied everyone the chance to get these!

So, TLDR- Posters, make art, enter raffle, win, do happy dance.

UPDATE- As many folks have asked, yes you are permitted to enter both the raffle and the art contest, but you can only win one.  I will obviously default to whichever places higher, should you win the statistics jackpot!
