I can’t say it more clearly or express my gratitude more aptly. When I posted my new comic this morning, I never imagined that it would climb so high, so quickly. I am absolutely touched and infinitely appreciative of all you friends and Deviants and Bronies who’ve honored me by favoriting and sharing my humble little comic! I never imagined ANY pic of mine would reach upwards of 1,350 favorites and 40,000 views, PERIOD, to say nothing of doing it in less than twelve hours! I’m stunned.
So thank you all SO VERY much! I’m very sorry I don’t have much time to keep up with every comment these days. I’ve been making pony stuff nonstop in my spare time and too often lately the choice has come down to spending two hours drawing or two hours replying to each message. What I can tell you is that I read every single comment and message. Sometimes it takes me some time to reply, sometimes I can’t reply at all, but I always read your messages and I always, ALWAYS appreciate them.
Before I sign off, a lot of folks have been asking why I decided to pair up Cheerilee and Twilight Sparkle in the most recent comic! No, I’ve never read the somewhat infamous multi-part clop fic about the two of them. I’ve just always liked the idea of Twilight being the perfect and faithful student and Cheerilee being the best teacher in all Equestria- it seemed kind of obvious that they would get along famously! Not to mention purple and pink look adorable together! But no, there’s no hidden meaning, backstory, or reference involved. It’s just two ponies that I expect would have a lot in common!
Ahem, that said, it’s still Twixie forever in my book.
Anyway, thank you everyone! We’ve gotten some amazing pony-related news about upcoming toys today and we also received a lovely Hearts and Hooves Day gift in the form of an adorable episode. As rough as the past couple weeks have been, it seems to me that we are entering our own little pony renaissance, and I don’t think there’s ever been a better time to be a brony!
Take care, Happy Hearts and Hooves Day, and I love you all!
