I fear I keep getting pulled away from Doctor Whoof into other ideas. This is a WIP for a comic featuring Derpy and a visit to the Ponyville General Hospital.

Oddly, this is my second piece in a row to feature pony bones...

Looks great! Love the cutie mark to, its clever and looks like she has a band aid on. Only I would round it off at the ends, dont see to many square tiped band aids. But then again I have never seen a band aid for a pony so what do I know lol

I don't know why, but I was sort of expecting to see in the background, a gun behind a glass panel with a sign reading "Open only in cases of broken bones"

Ouch! I hope that, with the power of unicorn magic, the old shotgun solution is a thing of the past!

I love this piece! (Hehe... I think I say that for everything you post!)

Just a thought: If you're trying to stay true to the style of the show, you might have gone a little overboard with the outlines. FiM doesn't outline most of the background objects, or even many of the foreground objects. Then again, you're obviously way better at this than me. Why am I giving you pointers? This situation seems backwards from what it should be. lol

No, no, you are totally right about the outlines! I am actually deviating a bit from the style in that regard. I'm finding that the outlines around some key objects work better in comic form. In the animation you're not necessarily supposed to notice everything in the background. I think they leave off the outlines in order to make the characters "pop" a bit more. In comic form, though, I think adding the outlines to some (not all) background imagery and objects makes the whole thing feel a bit more...holistic, if that makes any sense? It makes everything seem part of one world, rather than layers. Uh...I think! What the heck do I know, honestly?
