So, thought I, wouldn't it be fun to make a simple, easy, TINY little comic comparing today's awesome episode of My Little Pony to the classic Simpsons episode Marge Versus The Monorail? No problem, said I.
Shouldn't take more than a couple hours, right?
Right?
Grumble...grumble...
Anyway, have a very, very very late comic!
Edit- Couple changes. Spent a full thirty minutes yesterday trying to confirm which pony was Flim and which was Flam and I STILL managed to get it wrong. Fixed that.
Since folks seem upset at the idea the machine was a dud, changed the dialog a bit to reflect the idea it actually worked until the brothers turned off quality control.
Like it or not, the brothers were the villians of the week. And despite being total badflanks, great singers, and entertaining entrepreneurs, they also tried to swindle a family out of their livelihood.
Can't change the font. Sorry it's hard to read, but this one is done and I don't really want to go back and reformat everything right now. Maybe later.
Derpy: Yabba Dabba Doo! Ditzy! Ditzy Doo! She's the greatest pony in History! From the town of Ponyville, She's about to hit a chestnut tree. AAAHHHHH!!
I just watched this episode of MLP today for the first time and watching them show up and sing instantly reminded me of Lyle Lanley's monorail song! Too funny!
Leonard Nimoy: "No, the world needs laughter."
