For those of us who can't wait for our fix of ponies ponying pone, the hub has begun airing the first 8 minutes of the Season 3 premier through various On-Demand services and cable outlets. You can check it out over at Equestria Daily- [link]

In the opening sequence there is a pony assisting Princess Celestia. And that pony is completely-and-in-all-ways adorkable.

UPDATE- Many folks are pointing out we HAVE seen this particularly adorable pony before, in Luna Eclipsed, sans horn. Removed spoiler thing.

UPDATE 2- I think that since this pony appears to be Celestia's secretary, and as the new James Bond film Skyfall is being released the same weekend in the US as Season 3, she should be named Money Penny.

You'll have to scroll down to the R's to find her. Hair color looks different but that could be attributed to the dark setting the Luna Eclipsed episode was mostly in.
